MTAC-OCC Teachers Login Instructions
The following instructions are for Login, editing teacher information and registering students for the following MTAC OCC Branch Festivals: e.g. Popular Music Festival, Sonata Contest, Concerto Competition Spring Festival.
Log onto the Branch Website at mtacocc.org
Click on Login found on top right-side menu,
your username will be your first and last name
as one word. Please click under the Login box, \"I forgot my password\" to receive for password through email. This is only a one-time password and you will need to change it to something that is unique once you enter the
username and password, you will see the Main Menu, which will list the following options:

MTAC Events
View Students Registered by Event
View Teachers
FIRST - begin by editing your personal information:
Upon logging in, it is very important to verify your personal information contained in the database. To do this, click on Edit Teacher Info. Edit any of your personal information that may be incomplete or incorrect and create your own password if you are first time user. Click Save, then Return to Main Menu.
SECOND - add then edit your students in the database:
Click My Students on the Main Menu. This will list all the students you have previously entered in the database (be sure to choose “enabled”). If you need to add students, click Add New Student. Complete all information for the student and click Save. Each student will be saved in a database and will appear on your My Students page. The Add New Student form will return to the My Students page when you are finished. You can also edit or delete student information from the My Students page. Once you are finished, click, “Return to Main Menu” to go back to the Main Menu. (You can disable a student without deleting)
THIRD - register for an event:
Click MTAC Events link on the Main Menu. All events with current open registration will be displayed.
- Step 1: This will present the Event’s name and details. Please verify that this is the correct event you are registering for and click Register for Event.
- Step 2: If the event requires that a student be registered in a specific group, you will have to select a group or if the event allows duets, you will have to click on duet. Click the Next button.

3: Select Students to Play. Select your student from the drop down menu. Enter the required composition information including the performance time. When finished, click “Save Registration” at the bottom of the page. Once an application is complete you will return to the MTAC Events page. Click on “Register for Event” to additional students.
After registering all students, return to Main Menu¸ click on “View Students Registered by Event”. This will list all the specifications of the event, with all the students you have registered for that event and the amount owed. If an application is incorrect or needs to be changed, click on “Delete This Application” and reenter the student’s correct information.
